EAT & DRINK

If you’re looking for that elusive ‘proper pint’ or a hearty, homemade meal in a traditional Cotswold pub, look no further… We hope you’ll soon see why we’re featured in all the top food and pub guides year after year – all food is freshly-cooked to order to the highest possible standard, using seasonal, locally-sourced, fresh produce where possible, service is second-to-none, and we have a great range of real ales, lagers, wines, spirits and soft drinks.
We pride ourselves on the standard of our service and the fact that we don’t label ourselves as a gastropub; we offer the opportunity to enjoy great hospitality, delicious food and a wide range of drinks all in one package – one that remains true to its colours.
The menu

You can take a look at our menus right here – but be sure to check back, as we change our dishes regularly and our wines every six months, making sure the ingredients and flavours we use stay relevant, suit the seasons and offer variety for our regulars, both discerning locals and those who keep coming back from further afield.
We’re proud to support other independent businesses in the local area, carefully choosing our cheese and wine selection from Toke’s on the High Street, our meat from local butcher David Moore, and our beers from nearby suppliers, including the famous Hook Norton Brewery.
